General:

These terms and conditions apply to the Shimano North America Holding, Inc. dba Shimano North America Fishing, Inc. Promotion (the “Promotion”). By participating in the Promotion, you are deemed to have agreed to and accepted these terms and conditions.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER THE PROMOTION

The Promotion is organized by Shimano North America Holding, Inc. dba Shimano North America Fishing, Inc.. (collectively “Shimano”), 9550 Palmetto Commerce Pkwy Ladson, SC 29456.

This Promotion shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina; regardless of any laws (choice of law or conflict of laws) of any jurisdiction. As a condition of participating in this Promotion, participant agrees that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in South Carolina having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, other than participant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this Promotion), and participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

Participation:

The Promotion is open to persons aged eighteen (18) years old and over, at time of entry, residing in the United States of America and District of Columbia only. Legal entities are excluded from participation. Employees of Shimano and its affiliated companies and the immediate family members (spouse, children) are not eligible to win. Each person can only participate once. By participating in this Promotion, you agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Terms and Conditions and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein.

Description of the Promotion. In order to become eligible to win, participants shall provide their name and email address via the sign-up form on the landing page. The entry must fulfill all Promotion requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Shimano. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, your submission shall be removed from eligibility.

The registration period is open between June 10th to July 15th, 2026 (the “Registration Period”). Registrations received outside this time frame shall be void and excluded from the Promotion. No responsibility can be accepted by Shimano for entries not received for whatever reason.

In the event of any suspected fraud or abuse, Shimano reserves the right to exclude participants from participation in the Promotion.

Winner:

Within two (2) days following the close of the Registration Period, Shimano will select a single (i.e., one (1)) eligible participant as a potential winner; via a random number generator. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The potential winner shall be contacted by Shimano, via email.

Shimano shall have no liability for a winner’s failure to receive notices, via email, due to winner’s spam, junk email or other security settings.

Prize winner agrees that Shimano has the right to use prize winner’s name and/or image(s), such as publishing a list of the winner on the Shimano website for promotional purposes; for a limited time. This Promotion shall fully comply with all Federal and State data privacy laws and the U.S. Can-Spam Act. Information collected for this Promotion will be used in accordance with Shimano’s Privacy Policy https://fishshop.shimano.com/pages/privacy-policy. Shimano Marketing communications will be sent only if entrant consents and opts in. Entrant may opt out at any time. Shimano does not sell or share private and personal information.

All prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and not redeemable for cash or other prizes or product. No substitution.

Prize winner shall be responsible for paying all applicable federal, state and local taxes, if any. Shimano may issue a Form 1099-MISC to winner; if required by law.

Prizes shall be shipped by Shimano to the prize winner within ten (10) days after the end of the Promotion.

Shimano does not accept any liability regarding any damages, of any kind, arising out of or related to (participation in) the Promotion. Entrant releases Shimano from liability related to participation or Prize use, except where prohibited. By entering you agree to release and hold harmless Shimano and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors from any liability, loss, litigation, claim or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from (i) such entrant’s participation in this Promotion and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any Prize or any portion thereof, (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any computer, cable, network, hardware or software; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions or telephone or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (v) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries.In case of any event of force majeure (pandemic, war, etc.); Shimano reserves the right to suspend or terminate its obligation to provide the prize. Shimano is not obliged to provide an alternative prize. Winner may be required to sign a waiver and release of liability. Failure to sign a waiver and release of liability results in disqualification.
