Overview

Shimano designed the next generation of the legendary Teramar Southeast (SE) series of rods for lasting performance and to conquer inshore waters. The lineup of spinning and casting models offers dynamic versatility to cover everything from popping corks to live bait and large artificials. The new Teramar SE rods feature an updated, eye-catching cosmetic complementing traditional cork grips. Shimano built the Teramar SE B series utilizing TC4 blank construction for unmatched rod durability and optimized the SeaGuide guide train for enhanced overall rod balance. Models with Heavy power and above feature a rubber gimbal for added security in the rod holder and improved angler performance when fighting trophy tarpon or other coastal game fish using a belt. From speckled seatrout and redfish to cobia and tarpon, the trusted lineage of performance within Teramar SE continues.

TC4

TC4 is a dynamic core of T-Glass material overwrapped with a spiral pattern of high-modulus graphite. TC4 blanks are designed specifically to fish PowerPro lines and achieve outstanding strength-to-weight ratios.
