PowerPro's Enhanced Body Technology (EBT) is a proprietary manufacturing process that goes beyond a simple surface coating by permeating the braided Spectra® fiber with a specialized resin. This treatment bonds the fibers together to create a structurally rounder profile that prevents the line from flattening or burying into the spool under heavy tension. By filling the gaps between the individual fibers, EBT produces a smoother, slicker surface that reduces friction through the rod guides for longer casts and quieter performance. Additionally, the process enhances the line's overall durability and abrasion resistance while maintaining the high sensitivity and easy handling required for elite angling.

Spectra® HT (High-Tenacity) fiber is a premium, ultra-high-strength material developed by Honeywell that significantly evolves traditional super-line technology. Engineered to be 25% stronger than other high-performance fibers, it allows anglers to outmuscle large fish without increasing line diameter; in fact, it can create braids that are up to 30% thinner at comparable test weights, which increases reel capacity and improves casting distance. This next-generation fiber is twice as abrasion-resistant as competitive HMPE products and provides eight times the sensitivity of nylon, ensuring minimal stretch for faster hook sets. Derived from the same material used in bulletproof armor, Spectra® HT is currently utilized in high-end braided lines such as PowerPro Maxcuatro.
