Engineered for offshore anglers targeting both pelagic and bottom‑dwelling species, these rods are built to move jigs with authority and bring fish topside with confidence. An effective slow‑jigging rod is built to impart a deliberate, fluttering action of the jig throughout the water column, achieved as the blank unloads at the top of each pitch to drive the jig upward. Slow‑jigging models in the IMX‑PRO JIGGING series range from 5'8" to 6'2" with powers from Medium‑Light to Heavy, offering the versatility to target a variety of deepwater species. Driven by G. Loomis’ proprietary TaperTec rod‑building philosophy, each IMX‑PRO JIGGING model is meticulously tuned to deliver the ideal blend of action and power without excess material. The result is a blank with just the right amount of give to work a jig effectively, backed by the strength required to drive hooks home and turn fish decisively.
