The HD-ORCA FLASH BOOST now adds another dimension to its highly-touted series of Orca offshore lures. The 200mm-size HD-ORCA FB incorporates Shimano's FLASH BOOST technology that suspends foil on small springs inside the lure's body. This allows the lure to constantly emit an attractive flash — even on the pause — and is designed to mimic the movements of an injured baitfish. The HD-ORCA FB has a unique diving and swimming action when retrieved with low and slow sweeps of the rod while allowing the lure to return to the surface after each sweep. The HD-ORCA FB also features Shimano’s JET BOOST technology for increased casting distance.

FLASH BOOST

Shimano engineered its innovative and revolutionary FLASH BOOST technology to constantly emit a fish-attracting flash during the retrieve, even on the pause. FLASH BOOST technology suspends reflective foil on micro springs within the clear section of the lure body and provides an action designed to mimic the movements and flashing behavior of an injured baitfish. Entice bites from even the most finicky of fish with FLASH BOOST technology.

Through Wire Construction

Shimano's Through-Wire Construction utilizes a single strand of wire through the lure body to connect the line-tie eyelet to the hook hangers for increased durability. This ensures anglers will never have to worry about lure failure that may cause them to lose the fish of a lifetime.
