Its compound taper, formed on stepped mandrels with strategically placed micro-tapers, reinforces critical stress points while shaping a flex profile optimized for drop shotting. The result is a lively, communicative tip that preserves natural bait movement and maintains tension, transitioning into a composed midsection that converts light pressure into confident hooksets. Fuji K SiC guides manage braid-to-leader connections cleanly and keep overall weight to a minimum during long, controlled presentations. A custom CI4+ reel seat and premium cork grip heighten sensitivity while providing ergonomic comfort through hours of precise, methodical fishing. Designed and rolled in Woodland, Washington, the GLX DROP SHOT is built for anglers who measure success in inches and feel the difference between bottom and bite.

Ci4+ Reel Seat

CI4 is an original material reinforced with carbon fiber that is lighter and has a higher strength than conventional resin material. CI4+ is an advanced version of the original CI4 material and is 2.5x more rigid than its predecessor. The use of CI4+ for the reel seat increases sensitivity and reduces weight while also delivering remarkable rigidity for perfect reel fixation and better rod efficiency.
