Overview

The GCX Salmon Trolling rod is built with two defining characteristics: an expressive tip that clearly telegraphs bait, lure, or 360 flasher presentation, and progressive power that quickly brings heavy fish to the net. Rolled on stepped mandrels with micro-tapers placed at key points along the blank, each rod is engineered to reinforce high-stress areas and deliver long-term durability under sustained load. Available in trolling-specific lengths and handle configurations, these rods are equipped with durable Fuji Concept O guide trains, Seaguide reel seats with Fuji double-locking nuts for secure reel retention, and lightweight, ergonomic carbon trolling handles. Designed and rolled entirely in Woodland, Washington, GCX Salmon trolling rods give anglers a clear advantage in some of the most competitive salmon fisheries in the world.

MULTI PIECE ULTIMATE BLANKS DESIGN

The SHIMANO unique structure(SPIRAL X CORE, HI-POWER X) that increases the rigidity of the rod is compared with the effect of the negative increase in weight by adoption, and only the most effective position are used to reduce weight while maintaining the necessary strength in multi-piece rods.
