Walleye anglers know that versatility is key to success, and Shimano’s redesigned Compre Walleye series delivers purpose-built rods for trolling, vertical jigging, slip bobber fishing, and general applications. Each rod is built with Shimano’s DIAFLASH technology, which reinforces the lower blank with opposing carbon wraps to reduce blank twist and energy loss, great for fighting big fish out of deep water. Durable Fuji guides enhance casting distance and accuracy, while a Fuji reel seat ensures a solid rod-to-reel connection for maximum power. Finished with a traditional AAA Cork Grip, the Compre Walleye series offers a secure, comfortable grip in any condition. Available in 14 models, the Compre Walleye series is set to perform from early spring all the way to the last icy trip of the fall.

DIAFLASH

DIAFLASH technology is a reinforced structure that prevents twisting of the butt section for an added advantage during powerful casts and high-intensity battles. Engineers diagonally wrap carbon tape in opposite directions on the outermost layer of the butt section to form an array of "X" shapes. DIAFLASH minimizes energy loss from excess flexing in the rod butt section and enhances pulling power when it matters most.
