With the addition of two new models in the IMX‑PRO BASS Bottom Contact lineup, anglers now have even more options for fishing a wide range of pattern‑specific baits with precision. Driven by G. Loomis' proprietary TaperTec rod‑building philosophy to fine‑tune actions and maximize rod performance without excessive material, the redesigned IMX‑PRO BASS lineup utilizes a new high‑modulus graphite construction to boast optimized weight and strength. Designed and rolled entirely at our facility in Woodland, Washington, this combination produces lighter, more sensitive rods that deliver effective results. Every model in the revamped IMX‑PRO BASS lineup is equipped with a tangle‑free Fuji Alconite guide train incorporating refined guide spacing to promote smoother, more efficient line flow and reduce line‑to‑blank contact, enhancing casting distance and sensitivity. The IMX‑PRO BASS Mag Bass rods feature a full cork grip, offering balance and leverage when casting large presentations. The IMX‑PRO BASS lineup leverages a custom carbon‑infused CI4+ reel seat to provide a lighter, more responsive hand‑to‑blank connection. All rods within the IMX‑PRO BASS lineup feature gunmetal‑anodized hardware and additional composite bands to enhance durability with elevated cosmetics. Finished with a clean matte‑black blank, black wraps, and gunmetal trim, the revamped IMX‑PRO BASS lineup brings a premium look and feel on and off the water. Ci4+ Reel Seat

CI4 is an original material reinforced with carbon fiber that is lighter and has a higher strength than conventional resin material. CI4+ is an advanced version of the original CI4 material and is 2.5x more rigid than its predecessor. The use of CI4+ for the reel seat increases sensitivity and reduces weight while also delivering remarkable rigidity for perfect reel fixation and better rod efficiency.
