INFINITY LOOP
Significantly reduced line release resistance, resulting in a smooth casting feel.
Beyond dense winding, it's "ultra" dense winding. That's "Infinity Loop." By winding each strand of line precisely and neatly onto the spool, it successfully reduces line release resistance significantly. This contributes to a smooth casting feel, effortless line release, and improved sensitivity during the fall.
The beginning of tight wrapping
The "Super Slow Oscillate" mechanism, also known as the tight winding mechanism, was first introduced in the limited-production "STELLA Millennium Edition" in 2000 and was later adopted in the 01 Stella and 04 Stella models. Oscillate refers to the back-and-forth movement of the spool. "Super Slow Oscillate" is a technology that causes the spool to move slowly up and down when winding the line, resulting in a very tight winding of the line. This technology creates a so-called "tight winding" state of the line. Casting distance and casting feel are greatly improved, and its overwhelming performance became a hot topic among anglers.
Smooth casting feel and improved casting distance
Thanks to the evolution of the internal structure, the speed at which the spool moves up and down has been drastically reduced. This is the "Infinity Loop" technology, which is a "super-tight winding" technology that goes beyond just tight winding. With "super-tight winding" technology, the lines are wound uniformly on the spool at close, almost parallel intervals, so that they are next to each other. As a result, the resistance when releasing the line is greatly reduced compared to conventional designs, resulting in an extremely smooth casting feel and line release. It's as if the angler forgets the presence of the line and experiences casting with the feeling of releasing an arrow. Even with light force, casting distance is improved, and it also contributes to the stability of the fall speed after hitting the water and increased sensitivity.
Smooth drag performance is also achieved.
The benefits of the Infinity Loop technology extend beyond casting performance. When the drag engages, the number of times the line angle from the spool to the line roller changes significantly is reduced compared to conventional products, resulting in smoother drag operation. This reduces friction between the lines, allowing the line to slip out very smoothly even when a fish makes a sudden pull.
