The Next Evolution of Zodias Performance

For years, the Shimano Zodias series from Shimano has been synonymous with bass fishing excellence, earning a reputation for delivering tournament-level performance, sensitivity, and technique-specific precision. Building on that legacy, the newly redesigned Zodias B series complete with both spinning and casting models elevates the platform with refined actions, updated cosmetics, and Shimano’s most trusted rod technologies.

At the core of every Zodias rod is Shimano’s Hi-Power X blank construction, a carbon-wrapped design that reduces blank twist while increasing overall rigidity. The result is greater casting accuracy, more efficient power transfer on hooksets, and enhanced control when battling fish.

Sensitivity remains a defining characteristic of the Zodias lineup. Shimano’s Carbon Monocoque Grip, a lightweight hollow carbon rear grip, transmits vibrations more efficiently than traditional handle materials, helping anglers stay closely connected to their lure. Paired with Shimano’s rigid and lightweight Ci4+ reel seat, the system delivers exceptional feedback for detecting subtle bites, monitoring lure performance, and confidently fishing around structure.

Freshly expanded for this season, the Zodias lineup now includes 11 new models designed to meet the demands of today’s bass fishing techniques. From finesse-focused BFS and strolling applications to dedicated power-fishing and swimbait presentations, the latest additions provide anglers with more technique-specific options than ever before.
