Brummett Claims Victory at Banks Lake
The Snake River Manufacturing Kayak Fishing Northwest Tour made its stop at Banks Lake on July 25, where challenging wind conditions prompted an earlier-than-usual launch. Despite the shortened tournament window, anglers found an active bite, with most of the field posting full limits and several competitors battling for position until the final minutes.
Jesse Brummett of Vancouver, Washington, claimed the victory with a five-fish total of 89.25 inches. Brummett assembled his entire limit by 7:53 a.m., setting an early standard that proved insurmountable as the day unfolded. His fast start provided just enough separation to hold off a late push from the field and secure the tournament win.

The Banks Lake victory solidified his qualification for the Kayak Bass Classic Invitational, which is a regional event. This event takes place on the Columbia River on 3-4 Oct 2026 and is organized by Kayak Fishing Northwest (KFNW).
In addition to these regional tournaments with KFNW, Brummett placed fourth in The Oregon B.A.S.S. Nation Kayak Northwest National Qualifier took place on April 11–12, 2026, at Lake Umatilla (Columbia River), securing his place in the inaugural Newport Bassmaster Kayak Series Championship, set for October 14-16 on Lake Murray.
